Our accelerated courses are designed for persons like you who live in other areas. The format is 50 hours of instruction per week. People come to our accelerated intensives each semester from many states and countries.

Our next accelerated program will begin March 5, 2011. If you want to join this program, we recommend you sign up well in advance to ensure your place. Our accelerated classes can fill far in advance, and we have had to turn away many prospective students from full courses.

You are welcome to take just a portion of any available program, so you can join even if you can just fit the first one or two levels into your schedule. Our classes have been established for 22 years at the Corte Madera Inn, which has a lush five-acre resort-like setting and plenty of free parking. We are a 10-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge and have good access by bus from the airports and other Bay Area locations. We all know what a tremendous difference a very special teacher can make. Marleen Mulder and Randal Churchill are dedicated to the highest quality education, continuing to use their vast skills and experience to teach 90% of our highly experiential courses. No one could copy the transfomative live demonstrations and follow-up discussions given by these master teachers. HTI's other instructors have all mastered particular aspects of the field as well as providing wonderful teaching skills.

Obviously, as important as the number of classroom hours is the quality of time spent. We prepare our students for the hypnotherapy field with an extraordinary repertoire of skills in these 200 hours of very concentrated courses. Emphasizing comprehensive solutions to achieve lasting change, we teach working interactively with the whole person, clearing underlying causes of unwanted attitudes, emotions and behavior. For further reasons besides exceptional teacher quality, we believe we teach more in less time than any school in the field. For example, Randal Churchill has written award-winning teaching texts designed for our comprehensive courses. We also provide a wealth of written materials added to each level.

Also, instead of teaching 5 days in a row and taking weekends off, we never teach more than 3 days at a time. Because of the concentration of fascinating material we cover each day, itÕs best by then to have a day outside of class to assimilate and do some experiential and reading homework. We couldnÕt possibly cover as much and you couldn't learn nearly as effectively if we met the traditional five straight days. These are just samples of how we cover an amazing amount of invaluable instruction so quickly.

Furthermore, we strongly believe the most effective way to further enhance your hypnotherapy skills after the highly concentrated month of our accelerated intensive is to start a practice. We've been honing our program, improving with each semester over three decades, to provide the strongest preparation for the field. We give the option of further exciting training beyond the vast range of learning experienced in these four levels, but you'll get far more value from our most advanced levels after starting to develop your experience and expertise in your practice.

The A.C.H.E. recognizes 200 hours of class instruction from a state-licensed school as the standard to become a Certified Hypnotherapist. There is also a level of Clinical Hypnotherapist for an additional 100 hours, which we are happy to provide (and more) for those who are interested further advanced training. But don't let anyone suggest that you should have 300 or more hours before starting a hypnotherapy practice. That is not the opinion of the A.C.H.E., which has always led the way in setting appropriately high standards in the field, nor the opinion of any national government nor any major certifying organization in the world.

We schedule two accelerated programs (50 class hours per week in class) each year.
